Embattled public schools Superintendent Dr. Vickie Cartwright on Tuesday agreed to a mutual separation with the Broward County School Board.

The board was discussing the terms of the separation agreement, and was expected to vote on it sometime Tuesday afternoon after a discussion.
The move occurred after several members of the public discussed the superintendent and after Cartwright gave her mandated progress report. It took about an hour for her to present the accomplishments in her time as superintendent.
