2. A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer has died as a result of a shooting incident at a gun range during a training exercise. The incident was reported just after 10 a.m. at Trail Glades Range at 17601 SW 8th St. on Wednesday. Miami-Dade Police is investigating the fatal shooting. (WSVN)
3. NBA superstar LeBron James has purchased a luxury condo at Estates at Acqualina in Sunny Isles Beach for $9 million, according to property records. The purchase marks a return for the basketball star to South Florida after previously playing for The Heat. (The Real Deal - Miami)
4. Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez is working to change the location for a new incinerator after Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava worked to get an extension approved on the current plant. The location was originally selected for its low cost and time needed. (Miami Today)
5. New York-based Sloane and Company, a national PR firm, is planning to open its first office space in Miami with plans to hire soon, according to South Florida Business Journal.
