Here are the top stories today in Miami:
1. An American Airlines flight headed to Barbados from Miami returned to South Florida and was evacuated after chemical fumes coming from a carry-on suitcase made passengers sick, according to news reports. Passengers were taken back to the airport terminal and offered hotel accommodations and a seat for the flight rescheduled for Thursday morning. It is unclear what caused the fumes at this time. 3.
