1. A Fort Lauderdale dentist is now charged in connection with the 2014 murder of his brother-in-law, who was a prominent law professor at Florida State University. Charles Adelson is accused of hiring hitmen eight years ago to kill his sister's ex-husband, Dan Markel. (CBS Miami)

2. Crudos Art House in Coral Gables will make its debut in May 2022 at 2415 Ponce De Leon. The concept promises to focus on the aspects of "art, food, drink, music, design" in harmony. The menu include signature items from the flagship Wynwood location along new menu items for Coral Gables and a wide-variety of craft cocktails. (Miami's Community Newspaper)

3. Students and teachers at Orange Brook Elementary School in Hollywood came together to create a community garden with supplies, donated by online giant Amazon. The garden was created to honor Oliver, an eight-year-old boy that was their first student who had autism and died in 2017. (WSVN)

4. A man was taken into custody by police after another man was shot and killed Sunday evening at a home in southwest Miami-Dade. Miami-Dade Police said officers responded to a Shot Spotter call around 5:30 p.m. near the 10600 block of 170th Street. 32-year-old Edwin Boyce Molina was found suffering from gunshot wounds and later died. 5. An employee of a Lauderhill catering business sent WPLG a photo of a dead rat inside the kitchen area, and the next day the business was temporarily ordered shut by an inspector. The photo was taken at Catering at Chefs Table LLC, where an inspector found other issues the next day, including rodent droppings in the kitchen, dead roaches throughout the area and a mold-like substance in the interior of the ice machine.   • Ecuadorian Inter Miami CF forward Leonardo Campana has been named to the starting XI of the MLS Team of the Week for Week 8 of the 2022 regular season, after recording a goal and the game-winning assist in the 2-1 win over Atlanta United on Sunday, April 24 at DRV PNK Stadium. (Inter Miami CF)
  • Coral Gables-based Clutch Burger won the eighth annual Wings For Wishes chicken wing competition with a recipe not even on their original menu.
