Here are the top stories today in Miami:

1. E11EVEN Hotel & Residences has been approved for development by Miami's Urban Development Review Board. The condo hotel plans 427 units as well as 42,000 square feet of commercial space at 20 NE 11th St. A warrant is required for any new construction within Miami Worldcenter and is being sought by developers. 2. Zoo Miami visited Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Station 43 on Saturday to honor their service. Zoo Miami has partnered with MDFR for decades. "It has been an invaluable partnership," said Zoo Miami Communications Director Ron Magill. (WPLG Local 10)

3. NFL free agent Odell Beckham Jr. was removed by police from a plane on Sunday before takeoff at Miami International Airport after refusing to buckle his seatbelt and appeared to be unconscious, according to officials. Flight called fire rescue and police to ensure that Beckham would be alright, according to a witness. (NBC Miami)

4. One person has died in a trailer fire early Sunday morning at SW 344 St. and 187 Ave. Two other people were hospitalized in the incident. It is unknown if the fire impacted other structures as of Sunday evening. (Miami Patch)

5. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has committed $103.5 million towards Miami-Dade’s Northeast Corridor rail project, according to Brightline. Broward County is also being provided $74.3 million towards its commuter rail project from Aventura to Fort Lauderdale. (The Next Miami)
