  1. A 19-year-old spring breaker visitor allegedly attacked Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen and a woman outside the Four Seasons Hotel in Fort Lauderdale on Monday, according to multiple news reports. Reports said the incident happened after Allen played a show in Hollywood, Florida. The suspect is charged with neglect or abuse of an elderly person, four counts of criminal mischief, and two counts of battery, court records show. (Miami Patch, WSVN)
  2. Police have detained a man accused of robbing Farm Store in Hialeah on March 7. Police said they found the suspect after surveillance videos captured him getting into a black Mercedes Benz C-Class with dark rims after the robbery and used a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) search to find his identity. (WSVN)
  3. New footage has been released that shows the deadly police shooting of a man, who authorities allege was holding a machete and later took a hostage at a North Miami Beach office building. The shooting happened Thursday afternoon at an office building at 16855 NE 2nd Ave. The video has now been submitted as evidence into the incident. (WPLG Local 10)
  4. A man accused of killing a Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) deputy in a crash back in July 2019 has been acquitted of federal charges of DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide. The judge still sentenced the man to 90 days in jail for reckless driving. He was also given 364 days in jail after pleading no contest to driving with a suspended license and possession of cannabis. The man has already spent more than two years in prison and will be given credit for time already served. (NBC Miami)
  5. Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MOCA) is offering visitors educational and public programming to commemorate Autism Acceptance Month and Earth Month next month. The museum's Art on the Plaza series will also feature artist Edison Peñafiel’s installation, "Run, Run, Run like the Wind," which celebrates Latin American protest songs. (Miami's Community News)
