FL Airport Evacuated After Man Claimed To Have A Bomb: Report
Authorities evacuated a terminal at a Fort Lauderdale airport after a man said he had a bomb in his bag, a media report says.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — A terminal at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was evacuated after a man said he had a bomb in his bag Tuesday, WSVN reported.
Around noon, airport officials said the investigation was affecting Terminal 4 pre-security public areas for arrivals and departures.
Officials did not fully detail the nature of the investigation, but Broward County authorities told WSVN that they took the man into custody and the bomb squad retrieved the bag.

Authorities evacuated airport guests to other terminals during the probe, officials said.
"We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this ongoing investigation. This is a developing situation and updates will be posted when available," officials tweeted.
