“We support the belief that sexuality is not a state of undress, but rather, a state of mind. Social nudity is not a sexual activity, and we strive to dispel the misconception that it is anything but natural and beautiful,” the Bare Necessities website says. “We have made strides in the acceptance of nude vacationing and our wide range of cruise charters are a testament to our success.”
Pricing ranges from $2,000-$33,155, with a three-bedroom garden villa being the most expensive living quarters. Deposits are required to book passage.
All passengers must have a valid passport, and shore excursions are available. Costume parties are among activities on the ship.
For those wanting to prolong their vacations, Bare Necessities said passengers can visit the Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Orlando.
Here's a few rules passengers must follow while aboard the Big Nude Boat:
- Lingerie, fetish-wear, and excessive genital jewelry are not appropriate at any time.
- When the ship is at sea or anchored in a port, passengers can be nude unless announcements have been made to the contrary. When the ship is docked alongside in port, all passengers must be dressed throughout the entire vessel, including balconies, until the ship leaves port and an announcement is made that nudity is again permissible.
- No photographs, videos or electronic images of any person may be taken without the express consent of that individual, whether guests are clothed or nude.
- “NO PHOTO ZONES” means no photos. These areas are located around the pool and in dance venues. If found, photo capturing devices will be confiscated.
- Fondling or inappropriate touching of personal body parts or those of someone else, overt sexual activity or any form of solicitation for sexual acts is strictly prohibited.
- Dangerous or rude behavior will not be tolerated at any time.
Sealed bottles of wine or champagne can only be brought on Feb. 3 in either a carry-on or hand-carried into the terminal.
