Flood Watch Expires In Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, But Not Broward
A flood watch issued for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties was allowed to expire in two of the three counties on Sunday.

MIAMI, FL — A flood watch issued for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties was allowed to expire in two of the three counties, according to the National Weather Service. The flood watch was extended until 8 p.m. Sunday for Broward County.
"We have made the decision to expire the flood watch for Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties as the heaviest rain is over, and most of the highest accumulations occurred in rural areas, in the case of Palm Beach County, or missed the area for the most part, in the case of Miami-Dade," according to the National Weather Service.
"Broward county has had multiple road closures, along with reports of pumps operating at maximum capacity, and even moderate accumulations may compound any issues already in place," weather officials said.
