1. A defense lawyer for Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz is now under investigation by the Florida Bar Association. Assistant Public Defender Tamara Curtis was allegedly captured putting up her middle finger on camera. A stream of the incident was captured by Law & Crime network. (Miami Patch)
2. Halo Top is giving away free ice cream in Miami next week starting Nov. 11. Ice cream trucks will be deployed strategically throughout South Florida to South Beach and Wynwood. The brand is also hosting a giveaway for a trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for those unable to attend. (Time Out Miami)
3. An investigation is underway after a fatal shooting early Friday morning in the Miami-Dade's Gladeview neighborhood. Miami-Dade school employee Maurice De Andre Bellamy has been identified as the victim in the shooting. The motive for the shooting is still unclear and anyone with information is asked to contact authorities. (WPLG Local 10)
4. An off-duty Miami-Dade Police officer is seriously injured after being shot by his estranged girlfriend in Hialeah on Friday morning, according to officials. The incident happened in the 1200 block of W. 79th Street. The victim has been identified as Damian Colon, who is a veteran member of the Miami-Dade police department. (NBC Miami)
5. The Parks & Police 4 Kids (PP4k) Foundation has donated $35,000 to Florida International University (FIU) for their First-Generation Scholarship Program. The award is given to help "students whose parents or legal guardians have not earned a bachelor’s degree." (Miami's Community News)

- A storm is approaching South Florida early next week and will bring gusty winds, rough seas, flooding, and more. Most of Florida's East Coast is expected to be impacted. (WPLG Local 10)
