- A man is facing attempted murder and number of other charges after allegedly being caught on camera stabbing a clerk at a Miami gas station over a can of beer, according to police. The incident happened in the 500 block of Northwest 79th Street at around 1 p.m. Monday. (NBC Miami)
- Downtown Miami's One River Point towers have been granted approval by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to rise 797 feet. It was not the first time the property developers received FAA approval for the towers, but their previous approval had expired. (The Next Miami)
- Iconic pop star Madonna is planning to come to Miami for her upcoming "Madonna The Celebration Tour." The star will play at Miami-Dade Arena on Saturday, Sept. 9. Tickets go on-sale Friday, Jan. 20. (NBC Miami)
- University of Miami quarterback Jake Garcia plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to ESPN. Garcia is a former Top 25 recruit in the Class of 2021 in the ESPN 300. He started one game for the Miami Hurricanes this season. (ESPN)
- Hidden Worlds, an underwater-themed pop-up dining experience, is returning to South Beach in February. The pop-up is being led by executive chef Scott Linquist of Coyo Tac and Serena Rooftop and Bahamian executive chef Kevyn Pratt, previously of Baha Mar. (Time Out Miami)
