Home Healthcare Worker Accused Of Stealing Condo From Elderly Woman, Disabled Son

MIAMI - A home health care worker is facing serious charges after being accused of fraudulent property transfer of her clients' condominium.

Dahamara Cuervo Alonso, 48, has been charged with grand theft, exploitation of the elderly and organized fraud.

Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said, "This fraudulent property transfer of an 86-year-old woman's condo was not just the theft of her home, but also the theft of the home of her 51-year-old disabled son who resided with her."
