  1. M2 is a new 35,000 square-foot nightclub opening in South Florida. It will launch with Miami Music Week. The new club is located at 1235 Washington Ave. in South Beach. (Time Out Miami)
  2. A South Florida man was arrested last week for allegedly dumping contaminated waste. It was not the first time the man was allegedly caught dumping either. The suspect was charged with felony violation of Florida's litter law along with other crimes by authorities. (NBC Miami)
  3. The developer creating the Brickell headquarters tower for billionaire Ken Griffin's Citadel is working "as fast as we can," according to The Next Miami. The tower is expected to cost $1 billion and could potentially reach 1,000 feet. It could be a few years before completion. (The Next Miami)
  4. Billionaire and CEO of Citadel, Ken Griffin, has made a $25 million donation to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in South Florida. The donation will be used for a state-of-the-art surgical tower, according to the hospital. The new building will be called the Kenneth C. Griffin surgical tower. (WSVN)
  5. Bed Bath, and Beyond is closing numerous stores around the state of Florida including at 1460 W 49th St. in Hialeah. Layoffs are planned for the business across the board. A total of 87 stores are closing nationwide. (Florida Patch)
