- Two women who started a scene in South Florida Tuesday at Miami International Airport are now out of jail. One woman is accused of throwing a plastic sign at a Frontier Airlines ticket agent. There have been several violent incidents recently at the airport. (WSVN)
- A Florida diver lost sea last week was rescued by his family in Key West. The diver was reported missing at 4:19 p.m. and was rescued 7 miles southeast of Key West two hours later, according to a news report from USA Today. The rescue was captured and shared on TikTok. (Miami Patch)
- City of Aventura and Aventura Police Department are hosting an event called Share the Road on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. at Founders Park located at 3105 N.E. 190 St. Visitors can ask police questions about bike safety, get their helmets fitted, learn about bike maintenance, and more. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes to the event. (Miami's Community News)
- A jury has found a man accused of being a serial rapist guilty of a sexual assault incident almost 40 years ago. The accused man now faces up to life in prison. Sentencing for the accused man is scheduled for March 17. (NBC Miami)
- The 2023 Truly Hard Seltzer NHL All-Star Beach Festival is coming to Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in South Florida from Feb. 2 to Feb. 4. The 2023 NHL All-Star game is taking place in South Florida on Saturday, Feb. 4. It is South Florida's first time hosting the All-Star game since 2003. (CBS Miami)
