Man Found Shot In Luxury Miami High-Rise
When police arrived at the Opera Tower they found the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

MIAMI, FL — A man was found shot on an upper floor of a luxury high-rise apartment building after residents reported hearing gunshots. When police arrived at the Opera Tower they found the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.
The incident happened at 9:42 p.m., according to Officer Kiara Delva of the Miami Police Department. The Opera Tower is located at 1750 N. Bayshore Dr.
"Once officers arrived, they were told by building security that gunshots were heard near the 21st floor," Delva said. But "officers canvassed the apartment building and located a blood trail which led them to the 16th floor, where an adult male who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound was located."

Miami Fire Rescue brought the victim to Jackson. Police did not release his name.
"The motive behind the shooting remains unclear," Delva added.
