Child Escapes Attempted Abduction
The incident happened as the girl was walking home from a summer camp on Tuesday

MIAMI, FL — Miami police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who attempted to lure a seven-year-old girl into his car with candy. The incident happened at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday as the child was walking home from summer camp at NW 4th Avenue and NW 75th Street. The girl managed to get away unharmed.
"Detectives have been working round-the-clock in order to gather clues and are currently searching for a white male who was last seen wearing a ski mask, gloves, and was inside of a red sedan, unknown make and model," explained Officer Kenia Fallat of the Miami Police Department Wednesday.
Police were alerted to the incident through a 9-1-1 call.
