Miami Beach Hotel Ranks No. 3 On U.S. Best Hotels List: U.S. News

Five Florida hotels made U.S. News & World Report's 2022 list of the top 50 U.S. hotels — four in the Miami area and one in Orlando.

MIAMI BEACH, FL — A downtown Miami Beach hotel, Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach, took the No. 3 spot on U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 list of the top 50 hotels in the United States.

It landed behind only The Peninsula Chicago at No. 1 and Montage Kapalua Bay in Maui at No. 2.

To compile the list, U.S. News considered more than 6,000 of the nation’s top accommodations, using a comprehensive methodology that factors in each hotel’s star rating, industry accolades and guest sentiment.

The media outlet called Acqualina “the perfect place to find your peace.”

“With its deep red furnishings, silk decor and grand entrances reminiscent of a Mediterranean palace, you may forget you're on a Florida beach. That is, of course, until you step outside and realize you're just steps away from white sand and turquoise water,” U.S. News wrote.
