MIAMI, FL — A dispute with a bus driver on an empty Miami-Dade Transit bus ended in a fatal shooting Monday when a security guard opened fire.

Detective Argemis Colome of the Miami-Dade Police Department said the incident happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. at the Golden Glades Park & Ride in northwest Miami-Dade after a man got on the bus and began arguing with the bus driver.

"Once he gets off the bus, he immediately gets into a vehicle of the Miami-Dade supervisor that was on the scene, has a dispute with him, and then somehow manages to get back inside the bus," Colome said.
