1. City leaders in Miami Beach announced that alcohol sales will be prohibited in curfew areas after 6 p.m. starting today, March 24. The ban comes after a violent weekend during spring break celebrations. Business managers and store owners acknowledge this will affect their business' bottom line, but that safety comes first. 2. Former Trump adviser Paul Manafort was removed without incident from a plane at Miami International Airport before it left for Dubai because he carried a revoked passport. Manafort led former President Donald Trump's presidential campaign for several months during the 2016 race, but was ousted after revelations about his business dealings in Ukraine. (WPLG Local 10)

3. A family in pain is planning to sue after a 34-year-old Antwon Cooper was shot and killed by a Miami Police officer. The incident happed during a traffic stop on March 8. Police recovered a weapon at the scene, but the family says after watching the bodycam video and video from the school, they believe the officer killed Cooper for no reason. (CBS Miami)

4. The Miami Dolphins have acquired All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for five draft picks and quickly agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal is worth $120 million with $72.2 million guaranteed, making Hill the highest-paid receiver in NFL history. (Patch Miami)

5. Proposed 8-story sister Wynwood office buildings have received approval from City of Miami’s Urban Development Review Board. The buildings will total 578,325 square feet of floor area. An attorney for the developer wrote it will serve "as a catalyst for Fifth Avenue’s revitalization as an emerging office hub for creative giants, tech, and the new Miami." (Miami Today)
