MIAMI, FL — Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver entering his second season with the Miami Dolphins, is under investigation for his potential role in an assault and battery at Haulover Marina in Miami-Dade County, according to reports.

The assault reportedly happened Sunday at 10800 Collins Ave., the address of Haulover Park, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported citing Miami-Dade police.

According to a tip received by WPLG, Hill was involved in a disagreement with a charter company employee that ended when Hill allegedly struck the man.

Hill's agent did not return the Sun Sentinel's request for comment.

The Kansas City Chiefs traded Hill to Miami last year, and the Dolphins gave the three-time All-Pro a $120 million, four-year contract extension that made Hill the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history. He caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022.
