1. The Broward County School Board has put Superintendent Dr. Vickie Cartwright on notice with a 90-day plan that will then lead to a reevaluation of her performance. The plan comes amid an upheaval in school districts in South Florida and across the state as Gov. Ron DeSantis and an investigative group scrutinize school board members and government officials. Cartwright argues that most of the issues highlighted happened before she held the role. (WSVN)

2. Fort Lauderdale’s International Boat Show is officially underway and will run through Sunday. Last year over 100,000 people from around the country attended the event and the city is hoping to draw crowds this year as well. Organizers believe the event will bring jobs and business opportunities to the region. (WSVN)

3. Two people involved in a tanker truck explosion and crash on I-95 in Delray Beach were transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Miami Burn Center on Tuesday, according to officials. The crash shut down I-95 for hours and five people were injured in total. Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened when a vehicle swerved into the tanker's lane. (WPLG Local 10)

4. A South Florida man in Palm Beach is facing animal cruelty charges after he allegedly dragged a family member's dog behind his truck by leash and collar, according to authorities. Witnesses to the incident told police they tried to intervene to no success as the man threw the dog. (Miami Patch)

5. City of Miami is facing a class-action lawsuit over parking taxes that could cost the city over $50 million if successful. Tens of thousands of workers could be involved in the case.
