- A South Florida driver who allegedly ran a red light in Pembroke Park was killed during an overnight crash early Wednesday, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office. Police said the incident happened at the northbound exit of I-95 and the eastbound lanes of Pembroke Road. (Miami Patch)
- Miami-Dade Police, City of Miami Police, and the Miami Dolphins joined together on Saturday for The One Band, One Sound Bike Ride in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Participants met at Charles Hadley Park, near Northwest 50th Street and 13th Avenue. (WSVN)
- An investigation is underway by police after a man allegedly stabbed his wife to death on Saturday in northwest Miami-Dade, according to authorities. Police have detained the suspect in the stabbing and early information indicates suggests there was a 911 call stating an adult male had stabbed his wife. (NBC Miami)
- Miami International Airport has been named No. 5 on the list of the worst airports for travel in 2022 by Family Destinations Guide using data from the Bureau of Transportation statistics. The data said Miami International Airport had 24.4 percent of flights delayed in 2022. (Time Out Miami)
- Residents are torn over an upcoming new development where Hialeah Park now stands. The new project will bring 340 rental units, including homes for rent and a school. Hialeah Mayor Esteban Bobo commented that, "Hialeah needs an entertainment center and is in desperate need of housing." Neighbors have numerous concerns including increased traffic from the development. (CBS Miami)
