Miami Police Need Help Finding Sexual Predator

A sexual predator sexually assaulted one woman on Thursday and attempted to assault another

MIAMI, FL — Miami police are asking for the public's help in finding a predator who sexually assaulted one woman on Thursday and attempted to assault another. Both incidents took place in the Little Haiti section of the city.

"The city of Miami Police Department’s Special Victims Unit is working to identify a suspect who attempted to kidnap a woman by forcing her back inside her home," said officer Kenia Fallat of the Miami Police Department. "An hour later, a suspect matching the same description made his way inside a second victim’s home and sexually assaulted her."

Fallat said that the first incident occurred around 7 a.m. The victim, in her twenties, was able to run away before the man fled.

The same man, armed with a handgun, is believed to have attacked the second woman around 8 a.m. Fallat said that he sexually assaulted the victim and fled.

He was described as African American with a thin, but muscular build. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt with long sleeves, jeans, dark shoes and a baseball cap.
