Restaurant Thief Caught On Camera In Miami
Miami police are asking for the public's help in finding this mystery diner.

MIAMI, FL — A Miami restaurant thief who had his own ideas about take-out may want to order in next time. The man was caught on surveillance video inside the closed Akashi Restaurant at 1063 SE 1st Avenue. Now police are asking for the public's help in finding this mystery diner.
The incident happened on Saturday, July 7 after a restaurant employee closed the restaurant for the night and locked all of the doors.

"Once he returned to work later in the day, he realized that $400 along with three electronic tablets were missing," explained Officer Kenia Fallat of the Miami Police Department. "The business owner was immediately contacted and confirmed that the items should have never been removed from inside of the establishment."

The restaurant thief was described by Miami police as medium built and between 180 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing an orange short-sleeve shirt that said “It’s All About the U,” dark-colored long pants and bright yellow shoes.
