Miami Woman Found Slouched Over In Wheelchair

The woman was found outdoors in the 300 block of SW 7 Street in what Miami police described as suspicious circumstances.

MIAMI, FL — A Miami woman in her fifties was found slouched over in her wheelchair early Friday morning in what police described as suspicious circumstances. Miami Fire Rescue personnel pronounced the woman dead at the scene. She was found outdoors in the 300 block of SW 7 Street.

"It's still an active investigation and there are still a lot of questions that we need answer to," Officer Kiara Delva told Patch late Friday afternoon.

The woman was not immediately identified. Miami police said the woman was found with undetermined puncture wounds on her body.

"At this time it's unknown really if that victim was targeted by someone," Delva explained. "We don't know if it was accidental. We don't know if it was suicide."
