Missing 12-Year-Old Girl Found In Miami

MIAMI, FL — Miami police have located a missing 12-year-girl. Nayeli Carina Alonzo-Padilla was believed to have run away from home. She had been last seen at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the 1800 block of NW 35 Street.

"Nayeli Carina Alonzo-Padilla has been located in good health and is being reunited with her family," Officer Michael Vega of the Miami Police Department told Patch early Tuesday morning.

The child had been wearing a yellow school uniform shirt from Citrus Grove Elementary School and khaki pants when she left home.
