- Luke Jerram's “Museum of the Moon” is coming to South Florida starting March 9 in Coral Gables. The touring art exhibit is being brought to the area by the Coral Gables Community Foundation and the City of Coral Gables. (Time Out Miami)
- South Florida officials are preparing for an influx of spring breakers and discussing plans to address the surge of visitors. Contingency plans are already in place for Fort Lauderdale and Miami-Dade County and police presence is already increased in the area, including on popular beaches in the area. (WSVN)
- A 39-year-old man is accused of murdering a woman in Miami-Dade County in December 2022. The victim's body was found decomposed inside a trash bin on Dec. 7, 2022 near Northwest 205 Street and 29 Avenue and in Miami Gardens. (WPLG Local 10)
- The developers of Link at Douglas are building two more towers and plan to break ground in late 2023. The project will include 870 multifamily residential units as well as office space, commercial space, and parking. The towers are planned to be 443 feet above sea level. (The Next Miami)
- Pastor Lorenzo Johnson, Sr. of Miami is recalling segregation and what a struggle it was initially for integration. Johnson was integrated at Earlington Heights in Northwest Miami-Dade County with his siblings after the 1954 ruling in Brown v. Board of Education. Johnson said he wants others to know the history of segregation and the struggles that led to today's society. (CBS Miami)
