Here are the top stories in Miami today:
1. The new "Signature Bridge" is planning to finish construction in summer of 2026. The bridge is projected to cost $818 million. Delays happened due to supply chain issues and COVID-19. (Miami Today)

2. A nationwide manhunt for a suspected killer from Massachusetts ended in Miami Beach with a man arrested near 41 Street and North Meridian Avenue. The accused man is facing charges in connection with the murder of a couple in Marshfield. (CBS Miami)
3. A Miami-Dade Police officer was hospitalized after being shot in the face on Monday afternoon. A person has been detained in connection to the shooting. A manhunt for the shooter led authorities to Miramar where the car of the alleged shooter was spotted. (WSVN)
4. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approved the height of Empire Brickell at 26 stories. Construction permitting is currently underway. The development is planning to include 250 living units, 2,452 square feet of retail and 344 parking spots. (The Next Miami)
5. Brasserie Laurel, a new French concept, has opened in downtown Miami from Chef Michael Beltran. It is the latest project from Ariete Hospitality Group and located at 698 NE 1st Ave., Suite G-170. Menu items include escargot, foie gras, beef Wellington, and more. (Eater Miami)
