Here are the top stories today in Miami:

1. A South Florida woman from Hialeah is suing Kraft Heinz Food Co. for more than $5 million because the company's Velveeta Shells & Cheese microwavable mac and cheese cups take longer than advertised to cook. The lawsuit was filed Nov. 18 in the U.S. District Court’s Southern District of Florida in Miami. (Miami Patch)

2. A Miami Beach resident is asking Miami-Dade County to cancel a redevelopment project worth millions over the alleged failure to ask for a required public vote before land rights were given. BHI Miami Limited Corp. made a deal to pay Miami Beach $7.4 million in exchange for the rights, according to court documents obtained by Miami New Times. (Miami New Times)

3. An inspirational mural in Miami's Overtown neighborhood was vandalized ahead of Miami Art Week. Artists are joining together to clean up the damage to the mural, which features well-known figures, including Michelle Obama, George Floyd, and Serena Williams. 4. Residents of an apartment building in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood were shocked to be given just weeks to vacate their homes. The city flagged the building for not performing its required 40-year inspection and slapped an "Unsafe Structure Violation" notice on it, an unfortunate signage that has become a regular occurrence in South Florida, driving locals from their homes amid a worsening affordable housing crisis. 5. Soccer superstar Lionel Messi has not agreed a deal to join Inter Miami FC despite media reports suggesting a deal is within reach, according to sources at ESPN. Sources say Messi is focused on the FIFA World Cup in Qatar at the moment and is currently under contract until June 2023. (ESPN)
