MIAMI, FL — A 19-year-old man was found shot to death behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Silverado early Sunday morning while another man, believed to be a passenger in the car, was found bleeding from the mouth outside the Silverado. Miami police on Monday identified the driver as Emilio Jose Perez. The other victim was not immediately identified.

The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. near SW 19th Avenue and 19th Street.

"Once officers arrived on scene, they located a dark colored Chevrolet Silverado that was involved in a traffic accident with two other vehicles," according to Officer Michael Vega of the Miami Police Department. "Inside the Silverado they saw an unresponsive Hispanic male ... who appeared to have a fatal gunshot wound."
