Publix Issues Recall Of Private Label Pie Sold At South FL Stores
Egg custard pies sold in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties may actually be coconut pies, Publix said.

SOUTH FLORIDA — Publix Super Markets has recalled batches of its private label egg custard pie bought at Publix stores in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties between Oct. 2 and Nov. 16, the company said.
The pie’s package may actually contain a coconut pie and an undeclared coconut allergen, Publix said.
People who have a coconut sensitivity may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they eat it
