1. Former President Donald Trump will be holding a rally in Miami with Sen. Marco Rubio a few days before the general election Nov. 8 and Gov. Ron DeSantis is not on the guest list. It is unclear why DeSantis is not included in the event. (NBC Miami)
2. Fort Lauderdale Police responded to an incident with a man in a Halloween costume at a building at 6301 Fifth Way on Thursday morning. Police said the man was wearing a trench coat and a cowboy hat with what people thought was a gun. (WSVN)
3. Superstar Rihanna's lingerie and lounge-apparel label Savage X Fenty is opening in 2023 at Miami Worldcenter in downtown Miami. Savage X Fenty launched online in 2018 and has five locations in Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. (Miami New Times)
4. Deauville Hotel in Miami Beach is set to be demolished on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 8 a.m. with road closures planned from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Two towers are expected to replace the building with a luxury hotel and condo units. (The Next Miami)
5. A neighborhood association called Tigertail Association and group of homeowners in Coconut Grove have backed off of a lawsuit alleging that City of Miami officials improperly approved construction of a proposed waterfront condominium in Grove Isle. The plaintiffs said they intend to refile their lawsuit in the near future. (The Real Deal - Miami)

- A new proposal would limit the number of motorized scooters allowed on one city block in Miami to two. It would also limit rentals from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Scooter legislation has been stalled for 13 months. (Miami Today)
