1. Shoma Bazaar has opened in Doral, as South Florida's food hall scene continues to grow, and features 15 food and drink outposts. It is located at 9420 NW 41 Street in Doral and open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. 2. Months after an SUV slammed into two university students near Brickell City Centre, police said they have captured the driver behind the hit-and-run collision. City of Miami Police on Friday confirmed they have arrested 23-year-old Ameko Jacques in connection to the Dec. 18 crash that left the two friends seriously injured. (WSVN)

3. An employee at a local supermarket has been arrested after he was accused of placing his cell phone near a toilet after escorting a woman to the bathroom, according to police. The incident happened on Thursday when police were called out to the Presidente Supermarket at 8100 North Miami Ave. 42-year-old Ranulfo Villeda of Hialeah faces one count of video voyeurism. 4. A corporate landlord, Gator Investments, is trying to evict a small Miami medical clinic, food pantry and community center that complained when a big chunk of the ceiling caved in. Based on papers filed in the eviction case in Miami-Dade County Court, the tenants want a judge to determine how much rent they owe and do not want to move. (Florida Bulldog)

5. A lawyer for global law firm Reed Smith, who specializes in cryptocurrency investments, and his wife have purchased a waterfront Sunset Islands home for $17.3 million. The 7,725-square-foot home comes with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, one-half bathroom, and 100 feet of waterfront, according to Redfin. It was built in 1937. (The Real Deal - Miami)

• UFC fighter Colby Covington suffered a brain injury after he was allegedly attacked by fellow MMA fighter Jorge Masvidal last month outside a restaurant in Miami Beach, court documents obtained by WPLG show. (WPLG Local 10)
