MIAMI, FL — Aerosmith front man and philanthropist Steven Tyler will take the stage Saturday night at the InerContinental Miami for the 25th annual Miami Make-A-Wish Ball.

Tyler, who is known for chart-topping hits like "Livin' On The Edge," "Walk This Way," "Janie's Got a Gun," "Dream On" and "Crazy" will usher in the start of the organization's next quarter century at the Nov. 2 gala.

If you can't make it to the gala you can still experience the after-party presented by E11EVEN Miami and hosted by operating partner Ken DeGori at the InterContinental from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.

"Every year, InterContinental Miami creates an unforgettable experience for attendees, with dinner, drinks, dancing, auctions and amazing live entertainment," according to organizers. "Gabrielle Anwar serves as the emcee and over the years they have tapped headliner performances from Marc Anthony, John Legend and Lenny Kravitz, culminating with the one-and-only Steven Tyler to ring in the 25-year milestone this coming Saturday."

All the money raised by Make-A-Wish Southern Florida will go directly to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

The after-party will be held on the mezzanine level of the InterContinental. The hotel is located at 100 Chopin Plaza just off Biscayne Boulevard.

For those already attending The Ball, there is no charge. The after-party will also include a complimentary open bar. Elegant evening attire is required.

"Throughout its history, the Ball has made a huge impact on the organization, raising almost $26 million and granting the wishes of more than 5,200 children," Miami organizers said.

The event has grown so large that it takes an entire year of planning.

Organizers said every element of the event is considered in the planning stages from the moment a guest steps out of their car to the moment the night ends.

This year's after-party theme is “Stardust.”
