TD Bank Branch Robbed On Father's Day
A lone bank robber held up a TD Bank branch in Hialeah on Father's Day and escaped with an unspecified amount of cash.

HIALEAH, FL — The FBI is searching for a lone bank robber who held up a TD Bank branch on Father's Day and left an undisclosed device behind. The robbery took place around 1:30 p.m. The branch is located at 801 W 49th Street.
"The robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee," according to Special Agent Michael Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall of the FBI in Miami. (Sign up for our free Daily Newsletters and Breaking News Alerts for the Miami Patch.)
Leverock and Marshall said that the bomb squad was called out to examine the device that was left behind.

"The Hialeah Police Department K-9 bomb squad later declared the bank all clear," Leverock and Marshall added.
There were customers in the bank at the time of the robbery. But no one was injured.

The FBI released photographs of the suspect taken from surveillance cameras. The FBI would not say how much money was taken during the robbery.
