Thugs Feign Gun To Steal iPhone In Wynwood

MIAMI, FL — Miami police are asking for the public's help in finding two thugs who feigned a gun to steal a man's iPhone in Wynwood. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on July 9.
"The victim was sitting on the steps outside of 250 NE 32nd St., while eating and texting on his iPhone," according to Officer Michael Vega of the Miami Police Department. "The suspects are seen on surveillance video walking by the victim several times before approaching and robbing the victim of his iPhone."
Vega said that one of the suspects "implied" he had a firearm.

"Both suspects were last seen fleeing southbound from the incident location on a silver cruiser bicycle," Vega added.
One of the suspects was described as a black male with a dark complexion, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 260 pounds wiith a short fade haircut, black T-shirt and black sweatpants.

The other suspect was also described as a black male with a dark complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds with a short haircut, white shirt, black basketball shorts with red trim.
