MIAMI, FL — Donald Trump is planning an expansion at one of his Florida resorts.
The former president said he plans to apply to build 2,300 units of luxury housing, retail and commercial space at Trump National Doral in Miami, according to a statement released Monday by Trump’s chief spokesperson, Liz Harrington.

Trump also claimed to have “just spent millions of dollars” on the Blue Monster golf course at the resort. Trump National Doral includes three other golf courses — the Red Tiger, the Golden Palm and the Silver Fox — and a luxury hotel.

Though the property is owned by the Trump Organization, Trump made the announcement through his office with his presidential seal on the news release.
