2 Miami Banks Robbed Minutes Apart
Both of Thursday's bank robberies appeared to be the work of the same man while a third robbery earlier in the week seemed unrelated.

MIAMI, FL — A lone bandit struck two Miami banks within minutes of one another Thursday. Both of the robberies appeared to be the work of the same man. First he hit the BB&T Bank at 1200 Brickell Ave and then he traveled less than a block to the TD Bank at 1103 Brickell Ave. A third Miami bank robbery earlier this week appeared to be unrelated.
"Investigators believe this is the same individual who allegedly robbed the TD Bank branch located at 1103 Brickell Ave, Miami, Florida, today," Special Agent Michael Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall of the FBI in Miami said of the suspect who robbed the BB&T branch.
On Wednesday, a Chase Bank branch was also robbed in Miami. The robbery took place around 10:18 a.m. at 175 NW 199th St.
