Two Suspects Arrested Following Tri-County Pursuit That Spanned Miami-Dade And Broward

FORT LAUDERDALE -- Two people were in custody Wednesday following a high speed police pursuit of a reported stolen car that began in Miami-Dade and ended up on roads in Broward and Palm Beach counties and that lasted for several minutes -- and several miles.

The two men, who were not immediately identified, bailed out of the vehicle and began running but were both ultimately taken into custody, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

The suspects are expected to face charges in Broward County that include attempted armed carjacking, aggravated fleeing and eluding. It was not immediately clear if they would also face charges in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.
