MIAMI, FL — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 33-year-old man who allegedly attacked a Miami girl over the weekend when she stopped at a church to drop off some shoes. The man is believed to be Brenard O. Carr, according to Miami police. The attack occurred around 6:30 p.m. Friday at NW 13 Avenue and 67 Street.
"The victim stated that she just finished dropping off shoes to a church located near NW 13 Avenue and 67 Street when she was approached by a black male suspect who asked her if she drinks and smokes and offered the victim to come home with him so he can take care of her," explained Officer Kiara Delva of the Miami Police Department.
"The victim ignored the suspect on both occasions at which point the suspect grabbed the victim near her hip area to pull her towards him," Delva said on Monday. "The victim was able to break free and ran towards her sister."
