Young Taylor Swift Fans 'Will Never Shake Off' FL Hospital Visit

Taylor Swift spent hours at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, hugging kids, and posing for photos and videos.

HOLLYWOOD, FL — They are as fervent as any Taylor Swift fans, but unable to jump and dance their way through her song catalog because they are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The pop superstar spent hours Friday at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood. Video showed her hugging kids, shaking hands, posing for photos and videos as she moved from room to room, and giving out signed copies of her book, FOX Tampa said.

"You made this a day we’ll never shake off," the hospital said on social media. Thank you, Taylor Swift for bringing your support and kindness to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. You turned hospital hallways into a place of joy, comfort, and connection.

"Our patients and families felt the love and the magic will stay, stay, stay with them long after today."

In one room, Swift made a little girl, Zoe, gasp with surprise as the singer poked her head in and asked if she could step in to chat. “I’m Taylor, nice to meet you.”“What the?!” the patient said, according to The Today Show.

The pair admired nail designs and shared their love of dogs as a comfort dog lay on Zoe's bed.

One video showed Swift asking the young girl for a hug with hopes she feels better soon. The video ends with Zoe saying, “Holy cow, I just hugged Taylor Swift.”

In another video, as Swift visited another patient and his family, the boy asked, “Wait can I scream?” E News reported.

While at the hospital, the singer also spent time with the hospital’s Chief of Surgery, Jill Whitehouse.

“Undeniably one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the privilege of meeting,” Whitehouse wrote on Instagram next to their. “Thank you #taylorswift for making dreams come true for all of our patients, families, and staff today!”
