Woman Found Dead In Dumpster Behind Apartment Complex: Reports

MIAMI BEACH, FL — A woman was found dead, apparently in a dumpster behind an apartment complex in Miami Beach, according to reports, which said a person was in custody in connection with the death.

Officers were conducting a welfare check around 9:20 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Washington Avenue when they found the body, NBC6 reported.

A dumpster covered with a yellow sheet was loaded onto a truck, according to WPLG, which reported evidence markers were placed nearby.

A person was in custody, NBC6 reported, adding the death appeared to be an isolated incident.
