18-Year-Old Wanted for Escape from Facility

James Williams is wanted for escape from Mandala Adolescent Treatment Facility.

An 18-year-old man is wanted for escaping from a secure facility for male youths in the New Port Richey area, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for James Tyler Williams, who left the Mandala Adolescent Treatment Facility (8005 King Helie Blvd., New Port Richey) on Sunday, according to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Doll.

Mandala is a Department of Justice residential facility for troubled male youths.

Williams may be in the company of his girlfriend, who is also 18, according to Doll. He may be in St. Petersburg, Tampa or Tallahassee and may be travelling in a gold vehicle that could be a Volkswagen.
