2 Teens On Mini Bike Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash On FL Highway
Two Pasco County teens are fighting for their lives after their mini bike was hit by a pickup truck that left the scene, reports said.
HUDSON, FL — Two teenagers on a mini bike were seriously injured in a Sunday night hit-and-run crash on U.S. 19 in Hudson, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The mini bike, driven by a 16-year-old Hudson boy, was heading east on New York Avenue when it collided with “an unknown vehicle driven by an unknown person” who was traveling north on U.S. 19 around 10:10 p.m., FHP said.
Witnesses have identified the truck as a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, Tampa Bay 28 reported.

The truck’s driver fled from the scene of the crash, troopers said.
The driver and his 15-year-old passenger, a New Port Richey boy, were seriously injured in the crash.

“Turn yourself in. These are kids fighting for their lives. Just turn yourself in. You’re going to get caught. Just [expletive] turn yourself in. Do everybody a favor,” Sarah Pomales, one of the victims’ mothers, told WFLA.
The teens, identified as Kaiden Paradise and Darius Maddox, are in critical condition at St. Joseph’s Children Hospital in Tampa, reports said.
They have both had multiple emergency surgeries since the crash and have traumatic brain injuries, according to WFLA.
