4 Pasco County Cities To Vote For Mayor Council Members, Commissioners
Municipal elections in Pasco County will take place April 11. The qualifying period to run for office is Feb. 7 to 14.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County voters living in the municipalities of New Port Richey, Port Richey, San Antonio and Zephyrills will choose new council members, commissioners and mayors during citywide elections on April 11.
The qualifying to run for office is Feb. 7 to 14. To date, the following candidates have filed to run for office in Pasco County's municipal elections:
- Vying for New Port Richey mayor-council member are Kate M. Connolly, Chopper Davis and Wayne L. Scott.
- Running for mayor of Port Richey are John Eric Hoover and Scott Tremblay.
- To date, only one candidate has filed for seat 2 on the St. Leo Commission: Vincent M. D'Ambrosio.
- Running for seat 2 on the Zephyrhills City Council are W. Alan Knights and Steve Spina.
Only registered voters who live in the city are eligible to vote in the upcoming municipal election.

With the start of the new year, all requests for vote-by-mail ballots expired.
Vote-by-mail requests used to stay in effect through two general election cycles. However, in 2021, the state Legislature limited a request's longevity to one election cycle.

For the 2022 general election, Pasco Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley said his office sent out more than 137,000 vote-by-mail ballots. Overall, 34 percent of the votes cast in the 2022 general election came from tabulated vote-by-mail ballots.
Voters wishing to vote using a mail ballot need to make a new request for a vote-by-mail ballot by providing their Florida driver's license number, Florida identification card number or the last four digits of their Social Security number to verify the voter's identity.
All those wishing to vote by mail must request a ballot by clicking here or by calling 800-851-8754.
If a voter requires a vote-by-mail ballot mailed to an address other than the address on their voter registration record, the request will need to be made in writing and include the voter's signature.
Polls will be open on election day, April 11, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
