We got some ways you can get involved in your local community.

1. National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent chance of rain this afternoon. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny, with temperatiures reachiong a high near 79.
2. The City Council meets Tonight for a final vote on a proposed ordinance change that would permit customers. Members will also revisit a decision to raise day camp fees this summer. Meeting starts at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
3. Club Politico, a Hispanic Republican Outreach Club, meets today at 7 p.m. at Havana Dreamers Cafe, 3104 Town Ave in Longleaf, north of State Road 54 on Starkey Blvd.

4. As part of its move out of town to Medical Center of Trinity, HCA is ending its emergency service at Community at 7 a.m. today. I, which it is implementing its move to today.
