Enjoy Martin Luther King's Birthday and the last day of the long weekend.

1.     It will be mostly sunny today, with temperatures reaching a high near 71.

2.      Looking for a way to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday? How about joining the?  The event starts at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 6235 Pine Hill Road, Port Richey. Those gathered will march at 10:45 a.m. to the African American club headquarters a couple blocks away.

3.     You can honor the spirit of community service by participating ine. You can find a bloodmobile at 7201 State Road 54 in New Port Richey until 6 p.m.

You can also participate in a blood drive today from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the following locations:

  • 5319 Village Drive, at the southeast corner of I-75 & State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel
  • 5355 US Hwy. 19, south of Gulf Dr. in New Port Richey

4. If you’re up for a drive, you can also head south for S. Petersburg’s  Annual National Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "Drum Major for Justice" Parade. The parade starts at Dr Martin Luther King Jr St S & 3rd Ave S, St Petersburg, FL 33701.
