How's your first Monday of the New Year going?

1. It will be mostly sunny today, with temperatures reaching a high near 68.
2. New Port Richey’s City offices and most Pasco County government offices are closed today.
3. The New Port Richey City Council votes tomorrow on changing the city ordinance to require convenience stores that do not sell gas, such as the Main Street Food Mart, andthat operate betwen 10:30 p.m and 4 a.m. to provide the same security measures as convenience stores that do sell gas. Existing city ordinance defines convenience store as a store "deriving fifty (50) percent or more of its gross sales from the sale of gasoline for motor vehicles and the sale of goods, merchandise, or other articles of value in their original containers."
