5 Things You Should Know Today, Nov. 8

We got government and engagement on the agenda.

1.     It will be mostly sunny today, with temperatures reaching a high near 78.

2.     The New Port Richey City Council meets at 6 p.m. today in City Hall for a work session. Council members do not vote during work sessions, but they can share opinions. They’ll be weighing in tonight on a proposal to provide streetscaping for the Main Street Landing project and a proposed fee schedule for city services provided to support special events.

3.     Attend the Suncoast Harmony Chorus, a group of women between 18 and 90,  for rehearsal in the Choral Room at 7 p.m. at Gulf High School.
