2.     After discussion of a for a city sponsorship of the Chasco Fiesta, the New Port Richey City Council agreed Tuesday that a formal proposal be submitted to them for an official vote. Members said that they would agree to consider a sponsorship of around $40,000. The proposal, along with an agreement that spells out responsibilities of Chasco’s planners and the city, will be presented at a regular session Oct. 18. Find the full story later today.
